Anamudi Shola National Park (ASNP)

It was declared as National Park in December 2003. The Park includes three distinct but typical high altitude sholas of which Mannavan shola is the largest in South India. It has three Reserve Forests namely Mannavan Shola Reserve No. 58, Pullaradi Shola Reserve No. 57 and Idivara Shola Reserve No. 56.

Pambadum Shola National Park

It lies in between the Kanan Devan Hills and the Palani Hills of Tamil Nadu. It was originally notified as Pambadum Shola Reserve No. 55 in 1901, it was declared as National Park in December 2003. The Park is situated at a distance of 36 Kms from Munnar town.

Mathikettan Shola National Park

Mathikettan area is a part of Cardamom Hill Reserve (CHR) notified in the Travancore Government Gazette dated the 24th August 1897, wherein the area was constituted as a Reserve Forest under section 18 of Regulation II of 1868.

Kurinji Mala Sanctuary

This sanctuary is situated in between Anamudi Shola NP and Pampadum Shola NP and between High Ranges and the Palani Hills. Its settlement processes are not completed. Ecotourism programmes are inside deep forests of Kadavari.
